AdamBodnar
Director
Adam Bodnar is a Professor of Law and Dean of the Law Faculty of SWPS University in Warsaw, Poland. He is also a visiting professor at the University of Cologne and a Senior Fellow of the Democracy Institute of the Central European University in Budapest. He is a columnist for the Polish daily newspaper, Gazeta Wyborcza.
He is a member of the advisory boards of International IDEA, Liberties, and the World Organization Against Torture. From September 2015 to July 2021, he held the position of Ombudsman for Human Rights of the Republic of Poland. In 2019, he received the Rule of Law Award from the World Justice Project.
